Kiowa Fire District is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Andrew Koldeway on October 2, 2024. Andrew was a 21 year career firefighter and joined the Kiowa Fire Board in 2021 and served as the District's Vice President on the Board of Directors. His commitment to service, leadership and unwavering dedication to the safety and well-being of The District will be remembered.
Andrew brought a wealth of knowledge, experience and a passion for ensuring the protection of Kiowa Fire District and helped guide the District with determination and focus. Our deepest condolences to Angie, the kids, the entire Koldeway family, friends, colleagues and all who had the honor of working alongside of Andrew. His legacy of service will live on in the lives he touched, the firefighters he supported and the communities he served selflessly. A funeral service will be held to honor Andrew’s memory on Friday, October 11th at 2:00pm at the Plum Creek Church, 960 S. Interstate 25, Castle Rock, CO 80104. All are welcome to join family and friends in honoring Andrew’s memory and celebrating his life.
